Public Apology to Sir Richard Branson

In my posting 7717 on Silicon Investor's Thread "The New Qualcomm - Write what you Like" I referred to a man by the name of "Branston" who had proposed fuel reductions for transport aircraft.

The correct name of the man who had made this proposal, and whose name had been associated with the proposal in the press and other news media is Sir Richard Branson. Any suggestion that Sir Richard Branson bears any resemblance to a famous British brand of sweet brown and sticky pickles is purely coincidental. It was my not my intent to make that suggestion. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly apologise to Sir Richard for my error. I sincerely regret any harm, hardship or distress my error may have caused Sir Richard, his family, friends, business associates, customers, or his dog.

Branston pickle tastes very good with cheese. I hope they won't sue me either.
