I guess they never realized that heckling is a dangerous game. Not everyone takes their behavior in stride. Not that Richards is off the hook, but getting put down in some manner is a risk that hecklers run.

What particularly galls me is that they think they you should receive financial compensation because Richards called them "niggers"......which leads into a discussion I have been having in one of my classes about the n-word. This unwillingness to say the word, gives the word nigger more power over us than it deserves. There are many distasteful racists terms in our society......kike, spic, nigger, mic, cracker, etc.......while they are not nice words and should not be used as weapons, their use IMO does warrant financial compensation.......an apology....yes but a money payoff....no. But you know how Allred played it......I'll get you some money, if you let me represent you. The witch makes me tired.
