Small world. I met Akiane late last year and saw some of her work in Coeur d'Alene. Article indicates she is likely living in Boise now. She was living in Post Falls or Coeur d'Alene back then. Her parents were interested in leasing my office/warehouse building in Hayden at the time for a new studio for her. Akiane came by twice with her mom and a third time with dad and sibling. She has a great website artakiane.com Another artsy outfit, Sunshine Minting, stepped up and leased the building. They make chips for casinos and specialty coins.
