POTENTIALLY HUGE ANTI-OIL ELEPHANT!

Over the counter bulletin board stock Alchemy (OTCBB: ACHM) has a patent pending on a system that strips the hydrogen out of water by running it through a process that uses magnesium and earth based metals to do this. It is building on work by NASA's Jet propulsion Laboratory and has a partnership arrangement with them.

This cheap method of making hydrogen has enormous potential application in the automotive industry where keeping hydrogen as a gas in storage under pressure on board vehicles leads to all kinds of technical problems. Here the hydrogen, as I understand it, could just be stored as water, and stripped out to make electricity via a fuel cell and power the vehicle or hybrid.

Alchemy hopes to license the technology to 3rd parties and receive royalties off of its use.

This is all I know at this stage, but have gone out and bought a little bit (around $2 a share) just on the premise that if it is true and does what it says, the potential applications are enormous.

So anyone else up on this?

Bill
