It is hard. Clark and I talked about it at length and will tell mom the truth, if she asks. Then we will let her make the decision. Otherwise, if she doesn't ask, we will just follow dad's earlier wishes and scatter him over the lake. His brother and SIL were both scattered there.

We both think mom will not want to spend the excessive amount of money for something that wouldn't even be used. We both doubt they would even open up another grave, but would charge for it anyway. Putting his ashes in her coffin would be absolutely no trouble for the mortuary. We'd even pay a small fee for that, but their greed got in the way.
