Nokia has admitted publically that QCOM has essential IPR required for CDMA, W-CDMA, GPRS and EDGE. QCOM also made it clear in their most recent earnings call that in the event Nokia doesn't renew by April 2007, the lawyers have already prepared legal documents seeking to enjoin Nokia from selling any CDMA, W-CDMA, GPRS or EDGE handsets in the US, Canada, UK, Italy, France and Germany.
