We don't do firebombing on that scale any more. You are aware it was the firestorm that did most of the damage in Dresden?

Still, the Iraqi provisional government was screaming about the number casualties from the bombing. It wasn't the left that dictated policy, given the history, it was likely Rumsfeld. So, is he the leftist you are talking about? He seems to have felt that the Powell Doctrine was wrong.
