I just read Gary's response to your post.

I appreciate you sharing an actual position taken and sharing it on this thread!!!!!!

I feel your post to McNabb was a fine suggestion and an offer for his opinion of your option position(rebuttle).

Option positions can be very complex... Your suggestion of greater return for less risk is excellent.

Mr. McNabb should be able to reply with his justification for why he prefers his position, without taking offence.

Another fact of the two positions is that with the volitility of the stock both positions could be closed out at a gain before options expiration..... so the stock price on options expiration does not define a winner.
