Stan, thanks for the link; there was something about this in BioWorld today. I don't think I can add much on the role of insulin in cardio disease beyond what has been discussed in the Ligand thread. Do note that "diabetes mellitus" and "obesity" are listed in your link as important risk factors. I looked at post 7930; hard to say; the whole affair is looking more complicated by the minute. They have to make the darned announcement within a few weeks or their credibility will suffer (deja vu from what happened earlier in the year ...). PB
