Lindy, I spent a couple of minutes clicking around the site which seems to be only half joking. I wonder if there really are some things available for sale there. I didn't bother trying to order anything as I feared I might catch a virus. The guy here unitednuclear.com with the eyebrows going up and down, selling uranium, raised a smile from me. "Looking for some uranium? Click here".

Also, the polonium half life isn't long [according to that site] and since I'm not yet sure who I want to kill, or frighten by spreading it around, I would rather order it when I need it, or I'd end up paying twice the price per kilogram of active polonium.

The sect in Japan who spread sarin could have done a LOT better if they'd got some polonium and sprayed it around the place. One could get a little sprayer and go to a self-serve restaurant and spread an aerosol over the food to get lots of people. One could easily conceal such a spray device under one's armpit and squeeze the spray out a little nozzle under a cuff of a sleeve [being careful not to inhale I suppose]. I wonder how it would go in a water supply. That would be quite wasteful as only a small proportion of water is used for drinking.
