Mindmeld, personally I'm more for planting more trees and halting the overcultivation of vast tracts of environmental habitats such as the Amazon rainforest and the lands in western China. Turn the carbon in the atmosphere into something beautiful, since there's no way we're going to put it back into the oil wells or wherever they came from.

Of course, who's going to tell China and Brazil to restrain themselves? We sure can't. Even if we had Al Gore as president forcing us into buying nothing but small hybrids, we'll always be seen as richer than they are.

That's not an excuse for us to do nothing, but like I keep telling everyone, we gotta keep our rationality and not go nuts with this apocolyptic nonsense.
