Indeed, but my accountant also tells me it's always better to pay more when in doubt than to try and save a few bucks... even the appearance of wrongdoing, even when you did nothing wrong, is enough to cause an audit... let me ask you this question: Are you suggesting that my company should pay taxes on 100% of its total gross earnings even though a large portion of that total goes out to pay salaries, leaving a much smaller amount as net profit?
