Notwithstanding that Warren Buffet is one of the smartest and richest men alive, I think he's a little nutty for living in the house he does.

What you say is beside the point anyway. You are more referring to your own taste in modest homes and quiet trailer parks. If that's what you like, this is America, have at it! My point was that housing prices have shifted up one socio-economic class. To be a new home buyer means you have to shift down one socio-economic class to achieve true affordability.

Again, to you and realtors and theorists, that is fine. But to those who want to live around people more like themselves, this is not fine.
