Platformizing Thinness ...

... has taken Nokia some time, even though they have been steadily increasing share since Moto introduced 'thin,' (but with Moto narrowed the share gap) and the new Nokia terminal platform which presumably will make use of customized versions of TI's locosto and ecosto as well as other chips is still not in the market. 'Bararcuda' for entry level likely the 1st itteration, but it isn't clear whether Bararcuda is a single product or a family of products. One of the design challenges for thinness is ...

"... having the courage to leave stuff out. You can't have thin if you put in the kitchen sink. ... When we do it, we think platform." -- Niklas Savander --
