It has occurred to me that it may very well be just a placebo effect,or just in peoples heads, and people learn to draw by concentrating better or having new confidence after learning some simple skills.

I guess I don't want to know. It worked for me. But yes, I am right handed.

I wonder how a dominant eye plays into all this?

Which comes first?

I recently started using mono-vision contacts to avoid bi-focals. It is completely natural for me to read with my left eye...and use my right eye for distance.

I didn't know I was doing that before, but of course that is what you do when you shoot a gun right handed.
