It's a bunch of BS. There is no Al Qaeda in Iraq. They say there is, so they can blame the mess on Al qaeda. There's more Al Qaeda in NYC than all of Baghdad...practically none!

It's a ploy to justify turning up the heat in Iraq. To get public support for the war ala McCain's plan ie Go Big.

Problem is...there was no Al qaeda in Iraq...and there still isn't any al qaeda there.
