re: I saw this...what can one say? We are just unwilling to accept the failure that is Iraq. You remember Vietnam, right? Total denial until the last idiot in the country realizes that we failed. We are on the same glide path. Even most of the ME countries are treating us as a marginal influence. It's humiliating, and our military no longer has the respect it deserves. Putting more of our good people in will simply mean that more of our good people will be killed or maimed. It will not change the ultimate outcome one iota.
