You missed my point... you're right, it's not a waste of money for a corporation to have a flight department, I never said it was.. I said it's a waste of money to OWN the plane itself, then you have to worry about maintenance costs and so on... it's cheaper to have a jet card and pay as you go, much cheaper than to own... as a rule, you buy what appreciates in value, i.e., homes and the like, you lease what depreciates in value, i.e., cars, transportation and so on... now, flight costs are by the hour, not per person, and it depends on what size jet you take, the longer the distance, the bigger the jet, or you'll spend all your time refueling every few hours... believe me, it takes a long time to use up your jet card...
