Maybe Tinkerbell and Sam were the models Gary Larson had in mind! Dick Van Dyke came back like gangbusters on that detective show looking more distinguished than ever. What was the name of that show? It escapes me for the moment. Andy Griffith did the same thing on Matlock. A more recent quitter at the top was my favorite, JAG. The stars haven't done much, although I see David James Elliot on Close To Home in a small but regular part. Catherine Bell made a Marine Corps woman's uniform look sexier than a Playboy centerfold, or whatever comparison you can come up with.
