However, the market is big enough to support Voodoo and Alienware, not to mention a who slew of smaller companies. Again, systems with 1KW power supplies have been around for a while. "But this 500 watt product will not have any success." You know this, how? 500 watt products have made money for several companies. You are big on pronouncements with no facts to back them up. There is a niche that 4x4 is aimed at, and it has some characteristics that make it unique. And power consumption isn't one of them. Memory and I/O capabilities are second to none. Whether or not these are useful characteristics in that market has yet to be determined. And unless you have a handy time machine, there isn't any way you can know. You might be making will-assed guesses, but that is all they are.
