G & G Fabricating is locating in the Toronto area. They banked in downtown Toronto!

I cannot recall the principal's name as this all happened 6 1/2 years ago.

The matter was investigated by the Toronto police fraud division. The report was initially made by PV. The machinery in question was picked up allegedly from a barn in Harrow. I have met with the police in Toronto and can advise that there was a feeling that there was more than one participant. One of the directors in G & G had a bit of a checkered past but he did not have bank signing authority! The altered cheque (if I remember correctly) was payable to that director for expense reimbursement. The police did investigate the barn and I was told that there was no evidence that a heavy machine was removed from that barn. The investigating officer also told me he had a strong feeling that PV and this director were involved in it. There was some other person PV alleged to have been dealing with (who PV says got the machine) who had never worked for G & G and as far as the police could tell did not really exist. As criminal prosecution requires a much higher threshold, there was insufficient and inconclusive evidence to lay charges.
