The taliban continue to use pakistan as a base of operations because we let them. This is supposed to be a war where you are with us or against us and there will be no refuge for terrorists. Do you remember that? So why arn't we taking care of the taliban?

The american people would have overwhelmingly supported doing what ever necessary to take thoes bastards out, even crossing the border into pakistan. And if those tribes have that desire to harbor the taliban, they do that at there own risk right? They understand what they are up against. Just speak the international language that everyone understands, and mean it. We didn't do that over there. That is why they have that refuge. I understand that pakistan looks the other way too. That isn't part of the equation as to why they are still there and allowed safe harbor.

So when you ask whose fault it is, its hard to not point the finger right back at the man who said there is no place to hide. Its just common sense to me.

Bush sr. and his coalition understood what it really meant to march into bagdad. But who knows, if they had a larger military force, maybe they would have. Iraq is the mess that it is today because of troop levels, not that we should have went that way in the first place.
