"Democracy is a mere front for business as usual" Especially, and specifically, silly two-party politics (as somebody has said it, have whatever you want, but only cocacola or pepsi, we will do the rest)

It is often defined as polyarchy at its most barbaric level..

Luckily UK is changing under pressure of becoming a full, maybe even functional, EU-member.

Ilmarinen.

PS UK is really silly as the traditional war-party, the tories, lost our in war mongering to the labour, who got a boost from sending out all the soldiers to the slaughter in WW1.
(while the tories almost disappeared after the Flakland fiasco, the Falklands will obviously not be a part of a UK within EU)

However, a slight improvemnt might arise in the next elections when the lib dems will hopefully get their proportional share of power (if UK ever dares to implement a more propotional, open system).

Well, if they don't....
