Doug, Yes, exactly half. 125W TDP, instead of 2 x 125W TDP. AMD seems to be talking 2.9 GHz top bin (on some roadmaps) and no more than 125W consumption. which should provide at minimum 2x performance / power form very low target that Quad FX set. Joe
