Pelosi replaced Harmon because she was too eager to go along with phony Bush-Cheney/Pat Roberts intel on Iraq and got too cozy in terms of allowing illegal and un-Constitutional domestic spying without warrants or oversight.

There will probably be serious investigations into both those matters and the last thing Dems want is a Intel Committee head who turned a blind eye. That would be hypocriticial.
