A squeeze is possible. Price-wise, the trend is still higher highs and higher lows on any scale larger than wiggles. The increased choppiness and volatility since late October may be a sign of an impending trend change, but so far that did not happen. The animal spirit is high. Look today - the Dow picked up close to a 100 points from the low. SPX on the weekly looks like a potential Doji Evening Star - but until this week's lows are intact, this is unconfirmed.
