I believe that this X4 MLC is coming sooner than later and that it is going to have an impact on EPS growth for SanDisk next year.
I have not checked in lately therefore I do not know if my post is relevant/up to date.
This comes from LRCX yahoo and it caught my attention;
just a few days 4x MLC was mentioned by LRCX; they also talked about 120 - 130k wafer fabs which could be hinted to Toshiba.
is it possible that SNDK/Toshiba are getting faster than expected in manufacturing this technology?
They did not mention specifically a name in conjunction with 4x but wasn't 4x the BIG deal with regards to Msystem?

Dude, I know you still watch SanDisk. I have to believe you know some major company announcements are coming that are going to put the Nand industry on its heels. I believe that this X4 MLC is coming sooner than later and that it is going to have an impact on EPS growth for SanDisk next year. I also believe a Hynix licensing agreement is all but done and will be commenced in the next few weeks. Also, a U3 announcement with Microsoft is going to be announced as well. Lastly, I am totally convinced that Nand pricing for next year is going to be forecasted down 45-50% instead of what will have turned out to be 60% declines this year. Not only that, I believe that supply/demand will be in good balance for Q1 with pricing down 15-20% forecasted by SanDisk. This is what I see SanDisk forecasting which should ignite the stock to a new 52 week high(above $79.80) by early February. Your thoughts? The stock is trading at valuations from a year and a half ago when it was at the $25 level. It's going to start taking off sooner than people think, because of these announcements, and the street will start figuring out that Q1 is going to be better environment for Nand than thought before.
