Yes, I missed that. By degrading, do you mean that they master DVDs with a lower quality to drive people to HD-DVD/Blue-Ray?

You're definitely wrong here. My PVR comes with a 160 GB drive, and that's the only PVR model currently available from my cable provider. I hope their HD model comes with a 320 GB or 400GB drive. I actually bought some Seagate stock over the last year because they claim a big part of their growth will come from PVR hard disks. And it's an extremly undervalued company, probably due to the 'flash is going to kill hard disks' hype. That's not going to happen until there are multi terabyte flash disks at a hard disk price per byte.
