Dear Thomas: Sounds pretty balanced to me. My only comment is I wonder if VL is aware the Company appears to be making increasing penetration with Commercial lasers (ie Telecommunication and SemiConductor Industries). Recent reorganization seems to indicate COHR is putting more emphasis in that area. Also CYMI's problems look like opportunities will inure to COHR. JDN
