Actually Gann Rules are based on Cycles of determinate length, the major cycle being the 90 year.

You must know the old saw about Gann. He predicted the price of Wheat, I think it was, to be (whatever) say 1.29 by such and such a date.

The day came and Wheat was trading at 1.09 or perhaps even less.

He said if Wheat isn't trading at 1.29 by the end of the day everything I've ever done is wrong, and in the last hour and a half of trading it ran up and Closed at 1.29?

90 Years or 90 minutes, I'm not betting against anything with Gann's name on it.
