There is no "point of no return." The earth's climate continually changes. I learned this in elementary school, and it still applies. Obviously 6 billion people on this earth are going to have an impact on the environment, but what can we do other than to keep adapting to the changing climate? (And perhaps conserve more and stop buying SUVs just to go to the mall?)

You must have missed the part in elementary school where the earth's climate changes so significantly that the current species are wiped out and new species take over.
