More stock in the float??????????????????????????????????? biz.yahoo.com _______________________________ Monday September 29 12:34 PM EDT Rainforest Cafe CEO Berman gets shr options HOPKINS, Minn., Sept 29 (Reuter) - Rainforest Cafe Inc Chairman and Chief Executive Lyle Berman, who has received no compensation since the restaurant chain was founded three years ago, was granted 300,000 stock options during a special shareholder meeting here Monday. Berman, who also is chairman and chief executive of Grand Casino Inc (GND), has held his position at Rainforest since 1994. A committee of the company's board was expected to make the award effective later today. The price at which the options can be exercised would be based on Rainforest's closing price today. The options are to vest over four years. Berman currently owns more than 1 million shares, or 5.9 percent of Rainforest's shares outstanding. In addition, shareholders approved a proposal to expand the company's employee stock option plan by 1 million shares to 2.5 million. Guess my no votes did not count. rp ><>
