The youth are witnessing incompetence on a grandly tragic scale in the chimp Nero. Young people are sharp, and with every public appearance Bush brands himself as an out-of-his-depth stubborn LOSER. They "get" that somehow, someway, he's been allowed to be in charge, LOSING for all of us collectively. They know it's THEIR future he's losing.

Bush is the face, the voice and the tone of Republicanism for them.
