Republicans are racist, sexist and pretty stupid. They wouldn't vote for a woman or a non-caucasian if their life depended on it unless they have no other choice. I have found that most Republicans know absolutely nothing about their candidates' political philosophy, policy decisions, achievements or failures. All they know is the politics of hate. They hate gays, they hate women, they hate non-caucasians (soon to be the majority so the term 'minority' will soon be a nonstarter), they hate non-Christians, they hate everyone who isn't exactly as they are. It makes hate an overwhelmingly large part of the Republican psyche. Everything else is just blotted out.
