This is why boxing continues to shoot itself in the foot. Tonight we have two beautiful doubleheaders of boxing on SHO at 9:00 PM (Miguel Cotto vs. Carlos Quintana and Antonio Margarito vs. Joshua Clottey) and HBO at 9:45 PM (Winky Wright vs. Ike Quartey and Jeff Lacy vs. Vitali Tsypko) GOING HEAD TO HEAD AGAINST EACH OTHER. Could you imagine baseball scheduling the National League playoffs and the American League Playoffs at the same time. This is a relatively new phenomenon. With TiVo's and DVR's it's a manageable situation, however, the conflicting scheduling shows no regard for the boxing fan or the best interests of the sport.
