Because of pollution in China, and their lack of anything like a functional EPA, I don't buy any food from China. I go out of my way to buy local garlic (California garlic), and organic if possible. With education, when people realize the extent of the pollution and potential for poor food handling in China, I think people will begin to understand why they should pay more for American grown veggies and fruits.
