OpenROUTE Networks, Inc. Appoints Eugene Y. Chang Vice President of Sales and Marketing

WESTBORO, Mass., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- OpenROUTE(R) Networks, Inc. today announced that Eugene Y. Chang, an executive with more than two decades of experience in the networking industry, has been named to the new position of vice president of sales and marketing. Chang reports directly to Daniel J. Capone, Jr., OpenROUTE Networks president and chief executive officer. Chang joins OpenROUTE Networks from General DataComm Industries, Inc., Middlebury, Conn., where he had been serving as assistant vice president for systems and architectures. He assumes both marketing and sales responsibilities for the Americas. He began his long career in the networking industry at BBN Communications Corp., Cambridge, Mass. Chang earned engineering and computer science degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds six U.S. Patents for the development of networking and transmission products.
