Lew, I agree with you. Most posts on message boards are mirror images, one-liners, depending on one's desire or agenda. You have the chest thumping "going to the moon" "TA says worth $10" "takeover" at the top and then "it's a scam" "all a lie" "all criminals" at the bottom.
I just responded to someone on the other board who asked me to detail what SLJB owns, and who has posted many times about what he claims that SLJB owes. This is the type of thing to which I object. There are posters who shout, over and over, that SLJB OWNS nothing and then are quick to jump on all debts and state, just as loudly, that SLJB OWES everything. Logic tells me you can't have it both ways. The reality, as I stated to this poster, is that we have no facts, just plenty of opinions. I object to the opinions, stated as facts, whether they are positive or negative.
We see posters, who previously claimed perhaps millions of shares owned, when the stock was its top, telling us how things were so rosy, and now, they see every thing as a scam. These posts are typically opinions, stated as fact.
As I detail, in that post on the other board, it is no surprise to me that a pink penny stock may be a scam. I do assume each and everyone may be one. Without filings and without even Rule 211 disclosure, we do not know that 90% of the pinkies have a single asset. I probably get 10 "tips" a day from others. Then I do my own DD, the best I can and then make my own decisions, based on my own level of risk tolerance.
I have yet to buy something that I thought was a sure thing. I have yet to sell something that I was sure was a total scam. The perfect trader has not been invented. None of us knows the total truth. There are no easy answers. Posters want easy answers typically. The want trusted posters to tell them where to sell. It just doesn't work that way. All these pithy expressions in this paragraph are not genius expressions. They are just common sense. Sure, the company has brought most of this on to itself but we all should object to those who claim they know for sure that everything is a scam, just as we should similarly object to posts that say it's getting taken over by some Arab company next week. |
