An explanation to that remark of mine: i take the "i am convinced this will happen and that will happen" as i feel i must serve as the forceful counterpoint to what i feel is the prevailing view as loooooong as i feel my counter view is definitely in play, which it is.
Regards the "Fifth Column" unless one is a Philadelphian or are knowledgeable of its history and culture i do not expect this to be understood.
But to those steeped in Philadeldelphia culture and history, will realize there was a MAJOR Fifth Column event in Philadelphia this week.
In what must have been a battle ROYAL within the very PRIVATE Halls of The Urban League , thay have shocked the City Philly by awarding their most prestigious award, The Gold Medal Award, to Rumsfeld!!!. Yes , to Rummy---this was a Fifth Column action indeed.
For those the have seen the movie Trading Places one can get a sense of what the Urban League members are like by thinking upon the Duke Brothers ( played by Don Ameche and Ralph Bellamy:). Max
