As a younger man, I used to like to hang out in a Texas tit bar a high scool buddy of mine was a bartender in, since I drank free when the owners weren't around and got to attend after-closing parties, besides enjoying almost nude women dancing.

I met a guy there at the bar. I'd noticed him in the place pretty often, sometimes he'd buy me or other people or dancers a drink and talk to us about going to the tit bar, sometimes taking notes. I asked him what he was doing with the notes.

He told me he'd gotten a grant to study tit bars! He traced the origins ot tit bars back to places like the saloons of the old west. His current job was gathering information about the people that went to tit bars, the dancers, the owners, etc.
