Historically Detour Lake MINE, Milled 14 million tonnes to produce 1.76million gold ounces at a 93% recovery rate with average grade of 4.17g/t.
The New Near term open pit at detour within the M Zone holds 5,5 million tonnes, grading at 1.86 G/T for 301,448 ounces of gold.
This area has been further extended by 4 kilometres, with 59 drill holes seeing 85% of them containing visible gold.Over 71% of these holes returned values of 10g/t, including many holes with over 100 g/t.
The Detour Lake area, resource owned by TWD and Hunter Dickinson (Bought out plg) is referred to as the largest NEAR SURFACE Gold development property in Canada.
The adjacent GoWest property 100% owned by TWD, reported in Jan 2006 drill intercepts of 73.89 g/t over 2 metres, 6.01 g/t over 23 metres.
Reported in October 2006, intercepts of 41.40 g/t over 5 metres.
BIRCH LAKE:
Ontario, drill intercepts 229 g/.t over 2.35 metres, 209 g/t over 1 metre, 115 g/t over 2.9 metres, 105 g/t over 2 metres.
Concluded a 2000 metre drill program with average gold grades 1-4 g/t in ALL HOLES.
TURNER LAKE , Nunnnavut.Significant drill intercepts of 12.85 g/t over 8.85 metres, 28 g/t over 4.75 metres,
TREASURE MOUNTAIN, Cu,Ag,, British Columbia, TWD has drilled the Dardanelles property located 10 km to the west, and plans on moving onto Treasure mountain next.
Tuole, Gold Property CHINA, A planned 3000 metre drill program is in the works, to cover an area, already mapped by Geophysics,
Conclusion:
TWD is focusing mainly on 3 properties within the Detour Lake area.
TWD has drilled to date 80,000 metres, with VISIBLE GOLD OCCURING IN 85% OF THE HOLES.
The birch lake property returned initial bonanza grade drill intercepts, and is located adjacent to GOLDCORPS Red Lake Mine, regarded as one of the richest Gold Mines in the World.
TWD will be drilling again in early 2007.
The Nunnanvut, Turner Lake property is identical to the Kinross EchoBay Lupin Mine.
Further diversification eill come from the Treasure Mountain Copper/Silver property and from the Tuole China, Gold Property.
