Also in today’s San Diego Union, Home Section display ads: Horton is discounting 4 projects. Most notable is this project in San Elijo Hills Was $962,900 – Now $821,210 Was $1,002,900 – Now $790,210 Was $899,900 – Now $743,930 Was $959,900 – Now $833,840 Barratt is offering trade-in program. Most interesting is 4S Ranch with 14 communities and 9 builders. While the products are not the same, if one builder starts a price reduction campaign to get rid of standing inventory, I don’t see how that is not going to affect the entire chain.
