I don't have the same reaction to this interview. There are guys running our death chambers too, and for them it's also just a job, like it is for this guy.

My beef is with the legal system that leads to such frequent beheadings, not with the execution method used. Beheading with a sword is not particularly cruel, if it is done skillfully. At least Saudi Arabia has made sure that the executions would be carried out by a professional, not the victim's kin, who might miss on purpose.

Would you stop objecting to Saudi Arabia's justice system if they switched to using lethal injections? If not, why make such fuss over the interview?
