Archer Daniels Bound to Rebound

By Jim Cramer

About this article:
The love affair with the agriculture complex is truly in full flower. I can't recall a day where Bunge had a big decline. It is widely perceived to be one of the great answers to the attempt to grow our way out of the energy predicament. Of course, the stock is anything but cheap, in fact it is much more expensive than Archer Daniels. And I have to question that. ADM has come down dramatically to the point where it is selling at 13 times next year's earnings even though it has the same growth rate as Bunge. It is true that Bunge "owns" the soybean market and many in the ag-energy complex think that soy's the way to go. But ADM has the same thing going for it! I am not against Bunge, but I do believe that ADM has been punished way too hard.
