I think the Democrats wanted Bush to fail so badly they were willing to sacrifice honor to make it happen.

I don't know whether Republicans will do the same when Democrats return to power, but in the past they seemed to act like I would expect all to act. That is, act in the best interests of the country, not necessarily of their own party's balance of power.

I always like to say that what you can do somebody can be done unto you, so act accordingly. Democrats don't seem to pay attention to me.
