There was an article in the paper several months ago about the Grand Lake area. All of the lake front property on the two lakes there is worth $1MM, or more. Even some of the older, small homes in the town of Grand Lake are selling for that kind of money. My grandparents owned several parcels of land in that town and built two big motels many years ago. Can't even think what they would be worth today.
