DUK32.72, +1.02, +3.2%) on Thursday said the Department of Energy has announced that the company's proposed Edwardsport Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle and Cliffside pulverized coal plant projects were awarded $133.5 million and $125 million, respectively, in federal "clean coal" tax credits.
