I didn't say they were. I said that they were unlike in the level of aggression. Felonies and misdemeanors. Perhaps you skimmed over that. There's no moral equivalent between the two. Islamicists are certainly badder and more dangerous at this point in history than Christianists.

But they are nonetheless alike in their attitude about exerting the position of their religions vis a vis those of other people in society, a negative in our society.

It's a simple compare and contrast exercise, Bill. Just because you can contrast two things on one factor does not mean that they have no factors in common. The fact that poodles are not wolves does not stop them from both being canines. Islamacists and Christianists are both canines.

You are falling for the "moral equivalent" argument.

No, you are black and whiting this, denying the similarities in your zest to emphasize the lack of moral equivalence. The availability of contrasts doesn't obviate comparisons. On one hand you have this and on the other hand you have that. But you can't do that with one hand permanently affixed behind your back.
