You don't seem to notice that the first question of long term consequence, not short term consequence in Iraq, is would America be better off with Saddam still in power, being ruthless, hating America, and kissing up with limo's in some meantime. Anyone who wants to pull out is prepared to endanger America too greatly, IMHO.

O'reilly said the other night, to Newt Gingrich, that we can't fix Iraq, and that some strong man will come to power there and kill enough people to settle things down, and that "that'll be a good thing." What a putz he was, saying that. By the by, Gingrich said "that just might be what happens." He was kind in the face of O'reilly's idiocy. He wants to finish the job. Good idea.
