LMAO .... well, I think what RRUFF says is totally accurate if you look at it like this .... LMAO

Anyone who posts has a "position" ... (In a philosophical sense)

ie.

"Own 0 shares" is a position
"Sold all your shares" is a position
"Currently own shares" is a position
"Debating on buying shares" is a position

So, when anyone post, they definitely have a "position" in the stock ... more like a "vantage point" that motivates their perception of events.

Now, the integrity of people and what they post and the nefarious or honorable intentions is a whole other topic.
But the premise of their current "positions" is the primary motivation for their individual post.

LOL ... now pass the doobie and let's talk further .. LOL
